From welding and fabrication to machining and repair. Our farm equipment engineering team has repair, rebuild or fabricate from scratch most things that come through the door.

While servicing the agricultural sector we have also produced a number of “Turn-Key “projects for clients in the timber processing sector, combining automated processes, hydraulics and pneumatics. Whether you’re after new machinery or require extensive tractor mechanical repairs and additions, we’re the experienced engineering team for the job.

FTE’s largest stand-alone project has been the design and development of an automated system for deploying and retrieving road cones. The CMS. This system has been designed as a modular unit that can be built to cater for various cone number requirements and mounting platforms. It can be mounted on a truck chassis, a flat deck trailer, or on its own trailer frame.

It is able to deploy and retrieve cones on both sides of a truck or flat deck, or on one side of a dedicated trailer frame,  with the only labour input being the driver.

We have also developed attachments to mount to vehicles that assist in moving and positioning cones when “Trafficking” while the driver remains in the cab.
